Jacques Chirac (tries to) speak to the Europeans

 Many people here in France say that Jacques Chirac, who will be out of the presidency within 18 month, is already a has-been. They're probably right : unlike his 20-years-younger rival Nicolas Sarkozy, he looks tired face to the cameras. Including the webcameras. Like in this text / video (english version) released yesterday, in which he wishes a very good year 2006 to all the 25 European Union people in their native tongue. Beware : french Pope inside ! And maybe not the best way to reboost european construction, hélas...LINK
