"With its giant glass cupola that stands out over the low Paris skyline, the Grand Palais is one of the City of Light's most visible landmarks, located between the elegant Champs-Elysees Avenue and the River Seine". Every year, in the beginning of October, Paris is transformed in a huge museum for contemporary art during one night. This fall, "Nuit blanche" ("sleepless night") will take place on October 1st, with pieces by renowned digital artists like Gregory Chatonsky and Claude Closky. Also included in the program, concerts, street art, and a special visit of recently restored giant glass cupola of Le Grand Palais...

Lyon Contemporary Art Biennal has begun on wednesday 14th of september, featuring works by Sophie Calle, Daniel Buren, Pierre Huyghe and other French and international masterpieces. Until 31st of December. Have a look here (english site).
