It's been allready quite a fast spreadable URL (thanks to BB !)... but we had to talk here from one of our other projects, Gnomz.com. Like Fluctuat.net (and AEIOU), Gnomz was launched by les éditions hybrides, our web-edition company. It's an easy DIY comic creator which grants each user complete freedom to choose the characters (“gnomz” inspired by public celebrities or totally tailor-made by you), backdrops, situations, and themes portrayed. The english version is still in beta version for the moment, and there's not as much features as on the french Gnomz... but we are working at it. Pendant les travaux, you can still have a try !

Great news ! Aristarkh Chernyshev's fairy TV screens can be bought on Electroboutique.com.
Left : the Shining Star Tv set (599 $) "ultimately relieves television from its focussed psychological impact and meaning. It processes a visual stream and alters it into various decortive shapes".
Right : Teleblaster (1.499 $), "born to explode television. Its design repeats a blast, but it also stresses the functionality, which is the main thing here. TeleBlaster allows watching TV programs in different ways: as is, but also in a special mode of the signal processing".

Help needed ! If you feel sensitized by the history of letter forms, characters punches and poinçons, please sign this petition :
"The French government is currently engaged in selling off various buildings and businesses of the Imprimerie nationale Group, a commercial limited-liability company in which the French state is sole shareholder. This is being done with no thought to any separate solution to preserve its historic heritage - part of which is covered by a preservation requirement, being classified as a "historic monument" - other than to pack it into crates for permanent storage. This move is scheduled for the first half of 2005, destination unknown. (...)
The historic collection it holds - due to be so dispatched - is a unique, priceless testimony of the history of the written form, from the 16th century to the present. It includes the Cabinet des poinçons, or Punch Room, holding hundred of thousands of letterform and character punches, for both western and oriental scripts; functional workshops - a foundry, presses for typography, lithography and copper-plate engraving work, stitching and binding - as well as a library with over 30,000 volumes, and the archives of the State printing works (...)".
